Meet Penny Petersson – Your Guide to Pelvic Floor Healing

Welcome! If you’re struggling with pelvic floor tightness, discomfort, or pain, you’re not alone. I’m Penny, a certified pelvic floor yoga teacher specializing in gentle, breath-led yoga for hypertonic pelvic floor dysfunction. My mission is to help you release tension, rebuild trust in your body, and find lasting relief through accessible, nurturing practices.

 

Why I Created This Space for Pelvic Floor Healing

​I’ve worked with many people who felt lost and frustrated trying to ease their pelvic pain. Like many, I once believed the only answer was strengthening — but I discovered that relaxing and softening the pelvic floor is equally important. That’s why I created this space: to offer a gentle, restorative approach that focuses on easing tension, not just building strength.

My Gentle Approach to Pelvic Floor Yoga and Breathwork

Through my trainings, including specialized pelvic floor yoga certifications, I developed a method centered on breathwork, mindful movement, and body awareness. Unlike traditional pelvic floor exercises that focus solely on strength, my classes help you lengthen, soften, and create space in the pelvis — supporting both physical relief and nervous system regulation.

Healing That Feels Nurturing, Not Overwhelming

Healing should be a supportive, stress-free experience. My classes are designed to be gentle and accessible, so you can practice at your own pace and comfort level. Outside of teaching, I’m often dancing in my kitchen or enjoying a good book — reminding myself to embrace joy alongside healing.

I believe healing should feel nurturing, not overwhelming—which is why my classes are designed to be gentle, accessible, and stress-free. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me either dancing in the kitchen, or reading a good book.
