4 essential oils for stress

I don't know about you, but I am a prone-stressor. I have a really hard time dealing with stress, and That is definitely affecting my pain. Do you feel the same? I would probably say that that's the biggest reason to why I go into a flare, I get too stressed.

I am always one to reach for natural remedies first, to find something to help me, and that's why I love essential oils - because they are just plant extracts. I reach for me de-stress oils when I know a stressful event might be approaching, or when I feel like a stressful period is coming.

So today I am sharing with you, 4 essential oils to help with stress:

1. Lavender. Obviously. Any other way to go? Lavender is an extremely calming oil, not just for stress, but also for skin issues (also stress) - did someone say razor burns? I like to put this one behind my ears and breathe it in from cupped hands.

2. Copaiba. A very soothing oil, and got that earthy smell to it - so makes it very grounding (hello root chakra).

Copaiba is high in phytocannabinoid, and now you might be thinking 'hmm.. so how is that connected to CBD?' You can read more about that here. This essential oils I put along my spine and on my feet. Copaiba also exists in capsule form.

3. Adaptive.

They say that this is the perfect oil for stressful moments, or if you feel like you might be "on the edge". I know that feeling all too well, and so does my man, especially in my Luteal phase. Adaptive is a blend of Wild orange, Lavender, Copaiba, Spearmint, Magnolia, Rosemary, Neroli and Sweetgum - and it smells freaking divine! Adaptive I roll along my spine and also on the inside of my forearms, and I absolutely love the smell from this one! This blend also exists in a soothing bath oil.

4. Balance. Another very grounding essential oil blend, and if you've done a Root Chakra class with me, you have probably heard me speak of this one before. It contains Spruce Leaf, Ho Wood Leaf, Frankincense Resin, Blue Tansy Flower, Blue Chamomile Flower, and Osmanthus Flower in fractionated coconut oil. Balance I put on my feet and inhale from cupped hands, and it also exists in deodorant (my man loves it) and as a soap.

Now go out there, and de-stress your beautiful self a little!
