Third Eye healing for Pelvic Pain

Welcome to part 6 of the Chakra Healing for Pelvic Pain series, if you haven't read the previous pieces, you can find them down below!

Today we are diving into the sixth chakra, the Third Eye!


The Third Eye is probably the most talked about chakra, it is often mentioned by people when talking about energies, and it is located in between your eye browns.


Your Third Eye: Colour: Indigo or purple Element: Light

Wisdom Intuition Nudges Your Third Eye sees way more clear and far than your two physical eyes Physical part: Any tension in the head itself, headache, eye strain, brow area, sinus issues, hearing issues or dizziness. It is also related to the pituitary gland which governs the endocrine system, which is in charge of several essential hormones (HELLO!).


When you have a blocked Third Eye it can be extremely difficult to see clearly when it comes to your purpose, decision making, and where you are heading in life. It is said that it also helps to determine one's reality and beliefs based on what one chooses to see in the world.

How may the Third Eye be connect to your pelvic pain? Let me just tell you, you wouldn't be in this community if your Third Eye didn't guide you here. You are definitely here for a reason, I truly believe that. How often have you had to make a decision regarding surgery, medication, to see a certain doctor or not? When did you find someone, or something, just when you needed it? This is your Third Eye guiding you. Your Third Eye is deeply connected with manifestation, and if your Third Eye is imbalanced it might be harder for you to see the support you need and go out there and find it. And I don't know about you, but I hold a lot of tension in my face, especially my eye brows, and when I notice myself not relaxing my eye brows I always check in with my pelvic floor as well, and most of the time my pelvic floor isn't relaxing either. As mentioned above, the Third Eye also governs the pituitary gland, which is responsible for producing hormones in our cycle, and for optimal health.


What can you do to activate/balance/open your Third Eye?

  • Massage it

  • Place crystals on it (amethyst - great for anxiety, Labradorite)

  • Meditate on it

  • Do a Third Eye focused breath work practice

  • Use essential oils: Lavender, Frankincense, Patchouli

  • Child's pose

  • Puppy pose

  • Cat/cow with eyes closed

  • Alternate nostril breathing (breath practice found in the Pelvic Health Yoga membership)

Child's pose, Puppy Pose, and Cat/cow is all amazing poses for the pelvic floor to stretch and relax as well.

I see my life's purpose clearly.
