Welcome back to part 6 of the Chakra Healing for Pelvic Pain series! If you missed the earlier posts, you can catch up here: RootSacralSolar PlexusHeartThroat

We work with the chakras to support pelvic pain on many levels - because your pain is more than just physical.

What Is the Third Eye Chakra?

The Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) is one of the most talked-about chakras. It’s located in the space between your eyebrows and is often described as your center of intuition, wisdom, and clarity.

Physical connection: Forehead, eyes, sinuses, pituitary gland, and head tension.

When balanced, it helps you see situations clearly, make aligned decisions, and trust your body’s signals - which is essential in any healing journey.

Why the Third Eye Chakra and Pelvic Pain Are Connected

If you’re here, reading this, your intuition has already guided you in this direction (because this is a special space and not everyone finds their way over here) - that’s your Third Eye at work.

When living with pelvic pain, there are countless moments that test your ability to trust yourself:

  • Choosing which treatments or doctors to follow

  • Deciding whether to rest or move

  • Listening to your body’s quiet nudges even when logic says otherwise

Your Third Eye Chakra and pelvic pain connection becomes clear here — this energy center supports your ability to make intuitive choices and listen to your body’s wisdom. When it’s blocked or clouded, it can feel harder to see your path forward or believe in your ability to heal.

This chakra also influences the pituitary gland, which helps regulate hormones and reproductive health - tying it even more closely to the pelvic region.

And physically? There’s a fascial connection between the face, jaw, and pelvic floor. If you carry tension in your eyebrows, forehead, or jaw, your pelvic floor often mirrors that tightness.

Signs of a Blocked Third Eye Chakra

When the Third Eye Chakra is imbalanced, you might notice: • Headaches or sinus pressure • Tension between the eyebrows • Difficulty trusting your intuition • Feeling “foggy” or disconnected from purpose • Pelvic tension that flares when you overthink or doubt yourself

When balanced, you feel clear, grounded in your knowing, and open to support - both physical and energetic.

Ways to Activate & Balance the Third Eye Chakra

The element of this chakra is light - think clarity, awareness, and gentle focus.

✔️ Massage between your eyebrows ✔️ Place crystals like amethyst or labradorite on your forehead ✔️ Meditate or use visualization practices ✔️ Use essential oils: lavender, frankincense, or patchouli ✔️ Practice grounding yoga poses that support both clarity and pelvic release: • Child’s Pose  • Puppy Pose  • Cat/Cow (eyes closed optional) ✔️ Alternate Nostril Breathing (guided version available inside the Pelvic Health Yoga Membership)

Affirmation:💜 I see my life’s path clearly.

Try This Mini-Practice

Alternate Nostril Breathing

  1. Sit comfortably and close your eyes (or soften your gaze).

  2. Relax your forehead, letting your eyebrows soften.

  3. Place your two peace fingers on your third eye.

  4. Close your right nostril with your thumb, inhale through the left.

  5. Close the left nostril with your ring finger, exhale through the right.

  6. Inhale through the right, close it, and exhale through the left.

  7. Repeat for 6–10 slow, mindful breaths.

This breathwork practice stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping you feel calm, grounded, and more at ease.
